The complainant is the President of Aiswarya Kudumbasree. The complainant had deposited amount in "Athachitty" conducted by opposite party. On 10.06.2018 the opposite parties dismissed the complaint from the Kudumbasree the complainant had given a resignation letter to member of Kudumbasree due to the difference of opinion between she and the Secretary and one Renuka. But the amount was not given to the complainant. When the complainant was the President of Kudumbasree, the complainant had opened one bank account with her Aadhar card. The subsidy given by the gas connection was credited to this account. The complainant sent a notice to the opposite party. But they had not sent any reply. The complainant had already given a resignation letter to the opposite parties. Thereafter the complainant had suspended by the opposite parties from the Kudumbasree. The act of opposite parties amounts to deficiency in service. Hence the complaint.  

          2.       After accepting the notice the opposite parties had not filed version. Hence opposite party set exparte.

          3.       Complainant filed proof affidavit and documents. Exts.P1 to P3 marked. Ext.P1 is the passbook in the name of complainant. As per Ext.P1 the complainant had paid Rs.3750/- dated 11.03.2018. The deposit was started from 06.03.2016 and an amount of Rs.20/- per week was to be deposited by the complainant. The opposite party had not produced evidence to disprove the case of the complainant.

                    In view of the above discussions, we find that the act of opposite parties amounts to deficiency in service.

                   In the result, complaint allowed. We direct the opposite parties jointly and severally liable to pay Rs.3750/- (Rupees three thousand seven hundred and fifty only) with 6% from 11.03.2018 along with Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) as compensation for mental agony and Rs.2000/- (Rupees two thousand only) as cost of the proceedings within 30 days from the date of receipt of this order, failing which the amount except cost carries interest @ 9% per annum from the date of order till realization.

                   A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
