Today appellant – Sh. Nitin Dhingra alongwith learned counsel Sh. S.K. Gupta with an associate Sh. Kushal Verma for the appellant has appeared whereas Power of Attorney holder Sh. M.A. Raja with his Adhar Card alongwith learned counsel Sh. A.K. Agarwal has also appeared on behalf of respondent No. 1.
Both have consented to decide the matter and filed a compromise (paper No. 45) to this effect before this Commission alleging that as per the settlement, the appellant is ready to pay a sum of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) vide draft No. 001760 dated 03.02.2023 drawn from Axis Bank in favour of respondent No. 1 and also the furniture will be retained by the respondent No. 1 - complainant.
The above compromise is explained, read over and perused by both the parties alongwith their counsel and the counsel have endorsed thereupon and admitted the terms & conditions of the above compromise.
Accordingly the compromise is accepted by this Commission and the appeal is decided in terms of compromise.
The compromise shall form part of the decree. No order as to costs.
Statutory amount deposited by the appellant be refunded to the appellant as per rules and law.
File be consigned to the record room alongwith copy of this order.
A copy of this order alongwith compromise be sent to the District Commission concerned for perusal and necessary information.
