ORDER

 

BY PRESIDENT THIRU. G.VINOBHA, M.A.,B.L.,

          This complaint is filed by the complainant u/s 12 of the Consumer Protection Act.1986.

          The complainant filed this complaint  against the opposite parties  to  make payment of the matured Fixed Deposit amount of Rs. 10,000/- together with interest calculated at 24% for each day of default from the date of maturity till the date of settlement, and to pay compensation amounting to Rs.10,000/- for the extreme hardship and mental agony caused to the complainant due to deficiency in service and cost of this complaint.

          Complainant notice served.  Opposite party 1 and 2 notice returned.  Complainant and complainant counsel absent. In W.P.11781/99 this complainant is not a party.  Further result of Writ Petiton not intimated by either parties.  Matter pending for long time.  Complainant has no interest in prosecuting the matter.  Hence no purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending.  Hence this complaint is closed.

          Order Pronounced dated 30th  May 2022.
