Final Order / Judgement

Order no. 5              Date: 23.09.2022

The matter is taken up for orders today.

The instant Complaint Case was sent to an empanelled Mediator for settlement by way of mediation.

The Complaint Case was taken up by the Mediator on 21.09.2022 and the contesting parties appeared before him in person.

As per the note of the Mediator the dispute has been settled to the satisfaction of all the parties as per following terms and conditions:-

  1. All internal filters of will be changed by OP-2 within 15  working days in favour of complainant. If any problem arises in the water after replacing the internal filters, the complainant is supposed to submit the output water report from a competent laboratory.
  2. If the report is not satisfactory or upto the mark or any other problem arises in water, the OP-2 are directed to replace the total unit (whole machine).In this case Mr. Subrata Ray, an authorised person of OP-2 will provide the all sort of services as per the order.
  3.  If no other problem arises, the OP-2 is responsible to extend the additional 1 year warranty after expiration of original warranty.

The Mediator has been paid Rs.1,000/- only each by the parties.

In view of Section 81(1) of The Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the CC/120/2022 stands disposed of in terms and conditions mentioned above.

There shall be or order as to cost.
