At the time of arguments, the matter has finally been settled.

                        It is agreed between the parties that in Para 28 of order dated 03.04.2017 passed by District Forum-II, U.T., Chandigarh in Consumer Complaint No.502 of 2015, relief clause (a) be deleted. It is further agreed that qua relief clause (b), compensation amount be enhanced from Rs.50,000/- to Rs.1 Lac. It is further said that qua clause (c), the litigation cost of Rs.10,000/- be kept intact as granted by the Forum plus Rs.20,000/- more be granted qua litigation expenses incurred before this Commission. In all Rs.30,000/- be paid to respondents No.1 & 2/complainants.

                        Counsel for the appellants undertakes that amount of Rs.1 Lac + Rs.30,000/- shall be paid to respondents No.1 & 2/complainants through demand draft within next 30 days. It is made clear that if the amount is not so paid from the defaulted date, it will start getting interest @12% per annum till such time, the payment is not made. Liberty shall remain with respondents No.1 & 2/complainants to file an execution application and in that event, we expect that the Forum will impose heavy cost upon the appellants.

                        All other directions issued by the Forum qua payment of an amount of Rs.1 Lac in case of default is committee, stands removed.

                        Certified copy of the order be sent to the parties free of charge.
