ORDER

By Smt. Padmini Sudheesh, President: The averments in the complaint are as follows: The complainant bought a bottle of Border Golden Brandy, 180 ML for Rs.54/- from the 2nd respondent on 12.11.07. The M.R.P. printed was Rs.49/- and the 2nd respondent charged more than the M.R.P. amount. The complainant questioned about it and was asked to seek remedy in a court of law. Hence notices were sent to the respondents on 12.11.2007. The notices were accepted but no positive response. Hence this complaint. 2. The respondents are called absent and declared exparte. 3. To prove the case complainant has filed affidavit and documents, which are marked as Exts. P1 to P4. 4. According to the complainant, he is entitled for refund of the excess amount and costs and compensation. 5. There is no evidence to the contrary. 6. In the result, complaint is allowed and the second respondent is directed to return the excess amount collected from the complainant and all the respondents are directed to pay Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) towards costs to the complainant. Comply the order within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the open Forum, this the 23rd day of 2008
