ORDER

SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN                : PRESIDENT

This complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

                         1. This complaint was filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite party. The case of the complainant is that the complainant obtained a prime membership of the opposite party by paying a sum of Rs.6419/- to the opposite party for getting profiles in connection with the proposals for the marriage of her son. The opposite party promised that by subscribing the prime membership, the complainant can check more than 20 profiles and the duration of the said membership is for three months. But inspite of subscribing prime membership, the opposite party has not provided the service offered by them to the complainant. Hence according to the complainant there is deficiency in service on the part of the opposite party and hence approached this Commission.

               2. On 22.02.2022, the complainant filed a memo of settlement. In view of the memo of settlement, this case was advanced from 18.3.2022 to 22.02.2022. The memo of settlement filed by the complainant is accepted and recorded on 22.02.2022 and the case was adjourned to this date for orders. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the dispute we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled.

In the result, complainant is dismissed as settled. There will be no order as to costs.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.

Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the Open Commission, this the 25th day of February 2022.
