S.K. filed power for opposite party with an application under order 9 Rule 7 CPC for setting aside the exparte order. Counsel for the complainant has no objection to allow the application. Application is allowed, exparte order is set aside.<br /> Counsel for both the parties and also the parties filed a joint memo reporting settlement of the complaint. Under which, the complainant has agreed to receive a sum of Rs.60,000/- towards the full satisfaction of her claim made in this complaint and the opposite party has agreed to settle the claim of the complainant as agreed upon and both of them have agreed that the membership of that complainant in the opposite party Society is cancelled. The membership fee of Rs.1,000/- shall be refunded to the complainant. The joint memo is accepted. Counsel for the complainant reports receipt of a cheque for Rs.60,000/- drawn in favour of the complainant and agreed to receive the membership fee of Rs.1,000/- at the office of the opposite party. With this, the complaint is disposed off accordingly subject to realization of the cheque. <br />
