Complaint has been filed challenging the bill amount issued by the opposite parties and for providing electricity connection to the complainant. As the complaint seem to be a very vague one, it was taken up for hearing on admission.


 

Heard the complainant.


 

Complainant has stated that he has applied for electricity connection from the opposite parties for residential purpose. Further states that connection No.293 is given to

two houses, the name of the owners of the house were M.S.Subhalakshmi & A.V.Saraswathi. Connection No.5408 is alloted to two other houses. Complainant herein has not properly stated what is his connection with these consumer numbers mentioned in the complainant. Further stated that he has received two penal bills one for consumer No.293 and other for consumer No.5408 for an amount of Rs.2,16,000/- and Rs.1,80,000 respectively.


 

Complainant has no case that the said bills are issued wrongly in his name. On the other hand complainant raised objection regarding the method of penalisation adopted by the opposite parties. Finally it has been stated that the concerned person in whose name the said connection was given has preferred a complaint before the forum.


 

Complainant was heard, the forum ordered the complainant to rectify the defects. Inspite of giving sufficient time complainant has not taken any steps to rectify the complaint. Hence we are constrained to dismiss the complaint.
