              This appeal coming up before us on 20.04.2023 for reporting settlement and for filing Joint Memo of Compromise or for continuation of arguments and this Commission made the following Order in open court:

Both present.

 

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by both Counsels that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and also a Joint Memorandum of Compromise has been filed by the Counsel for appellants to that effect in which, the Counsel for respondent’s has affixed his signature. 

As per the compromise, the appellants/opposite parties has paid a sum of a sum of Rs.1,40,000/- by way of Cheque dt.17.04.2023 drawn on M/s. ICICI Bank in favour of the respondent / complainant.  The respondent / complainant has also expressed his full satisfaction. 

Hence, recording the Memorandum of Compromise, this Appeal is disposed off.  The  Memorandum of Compromise shall form part of the order.   No costs.

          The Registry is directed to discharge the mandatory deposit of Rs.25,000/- along with accrued interest in favour of the appellants / opposite parties.
