Sri G.Ravinder advocate is appointed to defend the JDR, by the DLSA Sangareddy. The JDR is examined U/S 251 Cr.P.C. He pleads guilty and states that he is a poor man, suffering  with heart ailment  and that only earning member having three minor school going children and that his daughter is with physical disability and that  they are all dependent on him. In our opinion the pleading of guilt by the JDR is voluntary. In the above circumstance a lenient view is taken and the JDR is convicted and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one month and to pay a fine of Rs.two thousand only, in default, to further suffer simple imprisonment for one month. The period of detention which the JDR has already undergone shall be set off U/s 428 Cr.P.C.
