The case is that on 1/7/05, 10/10/05, 10/4/06 and 3/5/06  the complainant had deposited a total amount of Rs.20,000/- with the opposite parties.  It was made to believe that  double amount will be paid on 8  years.  But no amount is paid so far.  So a lawyer notice was issued on 19/12/14.  But no remedy so far.  Hence the complaint.

          2. The opposite parties remained exparte.

          3. The complainants filed affidavit and Exhibits P1 to P3 documents.  There is no evidence to the contrary.  Ext.P1 proves that the opposite parties have received the amount from the complainants, vide receipt Nos.47783, 96529, 213347, 96534 & 229941 respectively.

          4. In the result the complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to return  double amount of Exhibit P1 with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of complaint till realization with costs Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) within a month, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
