ORDER IN THE QUESTION OF MAINTAINABILITY

- The complainant alleges that the opposite party availed excess amount for transportation of the dead body of his sister-in-law.
- From a perusal of pleadings, it transpired that the complainant was only the brother-in-law and not a legal heir and that the services were availed for transport of the dead body, the question of locus standi was informed to the complainant. From a perusal of the pleadings, we find that only the legal heirs of the deceased can be considered as consumers of the services availed from the O.P., even though the consideration was paid by the complainant herein.
- This complaint is accordingly dismissed as the complainant herein is not a consumer of the O.P.
