The Complainant has filed the present complaint under Section 35 of the Consumer protection Act, 2019.

Case of the Complainant

1. The case of the Complainant is that on 16.12.2022, Complainant had purchased a room freshner pack online through Meesho website for an amount of Rs. 435/- for cash payment. After purchasing the Complainant got to know that the manufactured of this product which was in the possession of cosmetics licence vide Mfg. No. 340 COS(H) which is authorized by the FDA (Haryana) to manufacture the cosmetics items is manufacturing the same at Rajasthan without the prior permission and licence of respective FDA(Rajasthan). The same license was already been cancelled in November 2021 while the product carried manufacturing date June 2022.The license is not authorized for Rajasthan but for the factory of Haryana and which had already been cancelled.   The factory and all their business activities in that address i.e. Plot No. 378, Sec 38 PH 1, HSIIDC Industrial Estate Rai, Sonipat, Haryana was already closed by the company in November 2021.
2. In his complaint, Complainant is raising the issue about the Opposite Parties was not holding valid licence to manufacture the product he had purchased. This Forum is not a proper Forum to examine the manufacturer licence of the Opposite Parties.
3. Hence, we do not find any merit to admit the complaint and the same is dismissed. 
4. Order announced on 19.05.2023.
