1.  The Complainant had lodged complaint against Jio Mart as he had purchased loreal Paris Xtenso Care Shampoo for straightened Hair, 250 ML from Opposite Party vide invoice no. S07AW6EXKDA00065 dated 03.09.23. The Complainant had attached relevant documents which unequivocally confirm that the product he received was not genuine and this situation raises serious health and safety concerns for his family, as the use of counterfeit products can potentially harm their hair and skin. The Complainant had also communicated this issue to Opposite Party grievance officer but the response received by Complainant is dismissive, citing the return window period as a reason for inaction. The Complainant had also stated if he had not adequately address within (reasonable time frame, e.g. 15 business days) from the receipt of this letter, he was prepared to take further action to protect his rights as a consumer.
2.  On the perusal of the complaint, we observed that the complaint is not filed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and also complaint was addressed to the Chairman, Reliance Retail Ltd. (Jio Mart) 3^rd Floor, Court House, Lokmanya Tilak Marg, Dhobi Talao, Mumbai-400002 instead of addressing to this Commission. Thus, this complaint is not maintainable under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
