ORDER

This order shall dispose of the abovementioned revision petitions as the facts are the similar and the point of law involved in them is the same.  Facts are being taken from revision petition 1602/2010.

          Respondent/complainant’s buffalo died due to electrocution.  Respondent filed the complaint with the allegation that the buffalo died because of the negligence of the petitioner as it had left life

electric wire which was not insulated because of which the buffalo got electrocuted. 

          District Forum allowed the complaint and directed the petitioner to pay Rs.32,000/- along with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of the complaint till realization and costs of Rs.2,000/-.

          Petitioner being aggrieved filed the appeal before the State Commission.  The State Commission relying upon the judgment of this Commission in “CGM P&O NDPCL & Ors. vs. Koppu Duddarajam & Anr.  IV (2008)  CPJ 139 (NC) and a judgment of the State Commission (Rajasthan) inRajasthan State Electricity Board vs. Charan Singh – 1999(1) CPC 241” upheld the order of the District Forum.

          There is no dispute that the buffalo died due to electrocution.  In view of the judgment of this Commission in the aforesaid case, we find no infirmity in the orders passed.  Dismissed.
