Final Order / Judgement The brief history of the case of the complainant is that he had purchased a Panasonic TV from the OP about 5 years back and the said TV automatically stopped.It is submitted that the complainant handed over the TV to the OP for repair.The OP repaired the TV and took Rs.1700/- but when the complainant used the TV at his home, the TV again did not work.It is further submitted that the complainant again handed over the TV to the OP for repair but the OP neither repaired the TV nor issued any bill to the complainant.Thus alleging deficiency in service on the part of the OP, he filed this case praying the Forum to impart justice in his favour.   The OP though entered his appearance through his advocate, neither filed counter nor participated in the hearing.The complainant was also absent at the time of hearing.Hence this case is to be decided on merit.   In this case the complainant stated that he had purchased a Panasonic TV from the OP but he failed to furnish the purchase bill issued by the OP.Further the case of the complainant is that, after 5 years of use, the TV did not function and hence he handed over the TV to OP for repair.It is his further case that the OP took Rs.1700/- from him towards cost of repair but after repair the TV in question did not working.Not a single paper has been filed by the complainant in connection with repair of the TV at a cost of Rs.1700/- by the OP.In absence of any material fact regarding purchase of TV and its repair on cost paid basis, we do not find any merit in the case of the complainant which needs to be dismissed.In the result, we dismiss the case of the complainant having no merit.Parties are to bear their own costs.
