This appeal has been filed against the judgment of the

learned DCF, Jaipur 4^th dated 19.2.2015 .

 

The contention of the appellant is that his meter no. 184537 was removed on 25.11.2010 but bills were issued on the reading of the old meter and this was deficiency on the part of the respondent. It has also been contended that meter was defective.

 

Per contra the contention of the respondent was that only by mistake meter number was wrongly mentioned. There is no dispute about the reading of the consumption.

 

Heard the counsel for the parties and perused the impugned judgment as well as the original record of the case.

 

Before the court below, it was not the case of the appellant that meter is defective or he has ever prayed for correction of the meter.

 

The court below has rightly held that only meter number has been written wrongly. It was only a mistake on the part of the respondent. The bills have been raised as per the consumption by the appellant and as he has to pay the money

in one installment, reasonable compensation and cost of proceedings has been allowed. There is no merit in this appeal and the appeal is liable to be rejected.
