This appeal has been preferred against the order dated 4.3.2014 of the District Consumer Forum, Dausa by which the complaint was dismissed.

 

The contention of the appellant is that the respondent is deficient in service. Her meter has been changed in July 2008 inspite of this for five years she has been given bills on average reading and unnecessary excessive money has been claimed from her.

 

Per contra the contention of the respondent is that it is true that after change of meter for five years, bills of average reading were given to the appellant but same mistake has been corrected by the respondent and after deducting the units, bill has been raised. Meter change order has also been submitted in which meter reading has been recorded of five years.

 

Heard the learned counsels for the parties . Perused the impugned order as well as the original record of the case.

It is true that meter of the appellant has been changed in July 2008 and inspite of that he has been given bills of average reading but she never objected with the same and when error discovered, the average reading has been deducted and thereafter a new bill has been raised.

 

The court below has also considered the facts and rightly rejected the claim of the appellant. No interference is needed. The appeal is dismissed.
