MR. BIBEKANANDA  DAS, MEMBER:-                    

                The Complainant has filed this C.C.Case seeking relief for reconnection of power supply of his Consumer No. 80025065147, which has been disconnected on dt. 28.02.22. the Ops have objected the prayer on the ground that Complainant shifted the meter from the original place where the power supply was provided on dt. 16.01.19 without the knowledge of Ops and the present place where Complainant has made a thatched house which is 70 to 80 meters away from existing L.T. net work & L.T. extension require to give power supply to Complainant and the said house situated on disputed land of village Thakurani land. Complainant never made any application to shift the service connection meter to another place as per OERC Rules.

                Taking into consideration of the aforesaid facts, we direct the Ops to reconnect the electric connection in the original place for which Complainant has to make proper application with required fees and land record within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of this order and the Ops shall reconnect the power supply within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of required fees alongwith documents from the Complainant.

              With the aforesaid observations the C.C.Case No. 66/2023 along with I.A No. 34/2023 is accordingly disposed off. No order as to cost.

               Issue extract of the order to the parties for compliance.
