                Sh.Govind Kumar, representative of the opposite parties No.1 & 3

          File taken up in the National Lok Adalat. On 3.11.2016, Sh.Govind Kumar, Engineer of the opposite parties No.1 to 3 suffered statement that opposite party No.1 is ready to replace the mobile hand set of the complainant with a new one within 15-20 days from today. At this stage, Sh.Anshu Dogra, complainant suffered statement that he has heard the statement of Sh.Govind Kumar, Engineer of the opposite parties No.1 & 3 and accepted the offer made by him. But however, he pressed for compensation and costs. In view of the statements suffered by both the parties, opposite parties No.1 & 3 are directed to replace the mobile handset of the complainant with new one within 20 days from the date of receipt of copy of order. Opposite parties are further directed to make payment of compensation for deficiency in service to the complainant to the tune of Rs.3000/- while litigation expenses are assessed at Rs.1000/-. Instant complaint stands allowed accordingly. If the compliance of the order is not made within the prescribed period, the awarded amount shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of order till payment is made to the complainant. Copy of the order be furnished to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to the record room.
