Today, the Member/Sh.Jaswant Singh Dhillon is on leave. File taken up today, i.e. on 09.12.2023 in the National Lok Adalat. Statement of Sh.Sanjeev Sharma, Adv. Counsel for Opposite Party No.3 recorded that as per compromise, finally arrived at in the Lok Adalat today, he has received Chrome Book along with Charger from the complainant. As such, as per the earlier statement dated 17.11.2023, the amount of Rs.17,741/- will be refunded/paid to the complainant within one month by OP No.3.
In view of statement suffered by Ld. Counsel for OP No.3 and the fact that the Chrome Book with Charger has been received by the OP No.3 as the good sense has prevailed upon the parties and they have settled the matter amicably. So accordingly, the award is passed with the direction to the OP No.3 to pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.17,741/- to the complainant as full & final settlement within a period of one month. The present complaint is accordingly disposed of. Copy of the award be supplied to the parties, free of costs, as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
