FINAL ORDER / JUDGEMENT

Both parties  filed hazira.

Heard the argument from both sides.

The Commission proceeds to dispose of the case as hereunder: -

The complainant case is that he applied for an electric connection on 12-02-2015 for running his submersible pump for the purpose of irrigation with deposit of requisite fees but the O.P. refused to issue any Quotation for some technical reasons. As s result the complainant suffered financially for non-supply of electricity to his submersible pump. So the complainant has approached the Commission for electric connection together with compensation.

The O.P. contested the case by filing Written Version stating therein that the Quotation has been served by WBSEDCL on 24-11-2015 and connection has been given to the complainant on 28-01-2016 with I/D No.201290461.

At the time of hearing Ld. Advocate for the complainant did not dispute the fact of getting connection but he has expressed his grievances for delay in getting the electric connection. The complainant has already got the reliefs during the pendency of the case as prayed for but so far as compensation is concerned there is no material on record to assess the extent of compensation.
