This is to dispose of Complaint Case No. 6 of 2008 which is filed by the Consumer Club, Manipur on behalf of the Meisnam Iboyaima Singh of Sekmaijin Khunou, P.S Waikhong.

As the Opp. Party admitted all the allegation orally alleged in the Complaint Case, it is not necessary to reproduce the facts.

From the above facts and circumstances, we observed that the Opp. Party had sold Engine Bearing (C. R.Bearing) to the Complainant in excess of Rs. 145/- from M.P.R of Rs. 80/-.

Hence the Complainant suffered mental agony of such act of the Opp. Party and as such a sum of Rs. 1000/- (one thousand) only has been fixed as compensation payable to the Complainant on account of selling of goods in excess and mental agony suffered by the Complainant and a cost of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand) has also been awarded to the Complainant in total Rs. 2000/- (Rupees two thousand) only is payable to the Complainant. Hence the Complaint Case is allowed with cost.

The Opp. Party are directed to pay the said amount of Compensation Rs. 2000/- within three weeks from passing of the Order and deposit the same in cash or by a cheque to this Forum.
