1. This complaint is filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.
2. This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. When the case came up for consideration on 19/10/2022 both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the matter was referred to settlement talk to be held on 12/11/2022. On 12/11/2022 both the parties filed a compromise memo stating that the matter is settled for an amount of Rs.16,000/- (Rupees sixteen thousand only). As per the compromise memo the third opposite party has agreed to pay Rs.16,000/- (Rupees sixteen thousand only) to the complainant within 15 days from the date of settlement. The settlement memo signed and filed by the complainant is accepted and recorded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the dispute we find that this is a fit case to be allowed in terms of the compromise.
In the result, complaint is allowed in terms of compromise. The memo of settlement dated 12/11/2022 shall form part of this order.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
