THIRU. M. MONY, PRESIDENT

 

This complaint has been filed by the complainants against the opposite parties 1 & 2 under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 to pay the maturity amount in the following fixed deposits:

i. Deposit receipt No.548698 dated:17.09.2011 in the name of the 2nd complainant namely; R. Rajagopal for a sum of Rs.4,00,000/-

ii. Deposit receipt No.548699 dated:17.09.2011 in the name of the 1st complainant namely; R. Usharani for a sum of Rs.4,00,000/-

iii. Deposit receipt No.548649 dated:09.09.2011 in the name of the 2nd complainant namely; R. Rajagopal for a sum of Rs.98,000/- and to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- towards compensation for mental agony, hardship, deficiency in service etc with cost to the complainants.

CMP No.125/2019 is allowed.  Case advanced today.  Memo filed and recorded.  In view of the Memo, this case is dismissed as withdrawn.
