ORDER

Heard Mr. D. Surendranath, A/R of the Petitioners.

Present Revision Petitions have been filed with a delay of 318 days.  In the Applications seeking condonation of delay, it has been stated that the Petitioners had approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court at Hyderabad by filing a Writ Petition, which had been dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.  It may be mentioned here that the State Commission had passed the impugned order on 11.5.2017.  Petitioners, according to their own averment made in Para-5 of the Applications, stated that they came to know in November 2017 that the order passed by the State Commission can be challenged by means of a Writ Petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India before the Andhra Pradesh High Court.  However, this Writ Petition was filed only in the month of July 2018.  There is no explanation whatsoever as to what the Petitioners were doing from November 2017 to June 2018.  In our considered opinion, the Petitioners have failed to offer reasonable explanation for delay in filing the Revision Petitions.

The Applications seeking condonation of delay are therefore dismissed.  Consequently, the Revision Petitions are dismissed.
