The brief fact of the case is that the complainant did not receive the subsidy amount from the OP Indian Oil Corporation in respect of domestic gas for the period from March, 2015 to April 2016 and for getting the relief the complainant knocked at the door of the Consumer Forum, Nadia as there is a gross negligence and deficiency in service on the part of the OPs Gas Company. 

            OP No. 1 files written version stating, inter alia, that no subsidy amount was granted by the Central Government and for this reason the complainant was not able to collect the said subsidy amount.  Thereafter, the dues subsidy money has already been paid to the complainant.  

            On the open Ejlash, for deficiency in service on the part of OPs Gas Company the complainant prayed for compensation.  OP was interested to pay Rs. 1000/- towards compensation.  The complainant agreed to take the same.  On 02.11.2016 the complainant received Rs. 1000/- towards compensation from OP.  So the matter was settled between the parties on compromise.

That the case CC/2016/70 be and the same is disposed of with full satisfaction without any cost.

Let a copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost.
