This complaint has been filed with the allegation that the complainant is the owner of the vehicle bearing No. DL 3SBF9986. It was insured vide cover note No.39334075 and policy No.70146093 for a sum of Rs.50,000/- from 16/07/2009 to 15/07/2010. On 17/07/2009 his bike was stolen, information was given on 100 number and FIR No.197/2009 was lodged on 22/07/2009. Intimation was also given to the Respondent. The Complainant visit the Respondent for passing the claim but no satisfactory reply has been given. The complainant prayed for direction to the respondent to pay Rs.50,000/-, compensation of rs.40,000/- and cost of litigation Rs.5,000/-.
Notices were issued to the Respondent. The Respondent put up their appearance and direction was given to the complainant to provide the documents to the Respondent and Respondent to decide the claim within the specified period till 29/05/201. The documents were not provided by the Complainant to the Respondent and the matter was listed for 05/06/2015 for further orders. On 05/06/2015 again same direction was given to the complainant but it appears from the record that the complainant was not complied with the direction and the documents have not been provided to the respondent.
We finally decide this complaint with this direction if the Complainant furnishes the required documents to the Respondent within the period of 30 days from the date of this order. The Respondent shall decide the claim of the complainant within two months thereafter and shall intimate the complainant about the decision taken. In view of the facts of this case no order passed to compensation and cost of litigation.
Copy of this order be supplied to both the parties.
