ORDER

1.        In compliance with the notice/order dated 15.05.2020 & 29.05.2020 of the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh, case taken up through video conferencing due to outbreak of COVID-19 & measures to control it, as per Standard Operating Procedure framed by Hon’ble State Commission.

2.        Power of attorney on behalf of OP No.1 received being dropped in petition box. Application received from the complainant through e-mail signed by her & her counsel Ms.Shifali Goyal and Pranjal P.Chaudhary, Advocates, which shows that matter has been settled between the parties and complainant wants to withdraw the present consumer complaint. Contents are supported by way of affidavit of complainant. Counsel for complainant also orally confirmed the genuineness of the withdrawal application. A perusal of the order dated 03.07.2020 shows that counsel for OP No.2 stated that they are ready to compromise the matter and refund the premium amount of Rs.3,24,972/- and said offer was acceptable to the complainant as was stated at bar. Now this statement at bar is corroborated with the communication received from the complainant which shows that amount of Rs.3,24,972/- has already been received by complainant from OP No.2 and prayed for dismissal of this consumer complaint. Hence, the present consumer complaint is dismissed as withdrawn being compromised.

3.        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
