16.10.2017 Present: Counsel for complainant.

Sh. Arpit Garg Advocate has filed power of attorney on behalf of opposite parties. The matter has been amicablly settled. Statement of Sh. Hanish Kumar Gupta complainant recorded to the effect that his father late Sh. Lachhman Swarup Gupta has died and he alongwith his mother Parma Devi and Rajiv Kumar and Bhartendu Gupta-brothers are the only legal heirs of his deceased father. He further undertakes that the amounts lying with the opposite party will be disbursed amongst the legal heirs. On this statement of complainant, statement of Sh. Parveen Bansal Branch Head IDBI Bank Barnala of opposite parties also recorded to the efffect that he has heard the statement made by the complainant and the document placed on record regarding legal heirs and the Bank has no objection for releasing the amounts lying in the FDR/Savings alongwith interest within 30 days from today to the complainant and the order be passed accordingly. In view of the statements of the parties, the opposite parties are directed to make the payment lying in the account of late Sh. Lachhman Swarup Gupta alongwith interest to the complainant within 30 days. It is further stated that in case the payment is not made within 30 days then the complainant is entitled to interest @ 9% per annum on the entire amount. It is also stated that both the parties shall abide by their statements made in this Forum. The present complaint is disposed of accordingly. Copy of the order be supplied to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to records.
