        File taken up today in the Lok Adalat on an application filed by counsel for OP as matter has been compromised between the parties. Learned counsel for op has suffered a statement that as per compromise, op will pay an amount of Rs.30,000/- as full and final payment within 45 days and present complaint may be disposed of accordingly. Learned counsel for complainant has also suffered a statement that said statement of learned counsel for op is acceptable to him and in view of said statement, he does not want to proceed further with the present complaint and same may be dismissed as withdrawn. He has also stated that op may be bound down by above said statement.

        In view of the statements of learned counsel for parties, present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn being compromised in the Lok Adalat. However, op is bound down by the above said statement of its counsel and the op is directed to pay the above said amount of Rs.30,000/- to the complainant within a period of 45 days from today, failing which op will pay the above said amount of Rs.30,000/- to the complainant alongwith interest at the rate of @6% per annum from the date of this order till actual payment. File be consigned to the record room.
