                                                            ORDER

 

                          The case has been taken up in Lok Adalat.  Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute.  As per the statement given by ld.Counsel for OP, recorded separately, OP Insurance Company will pay an amount of Rs.1,34,670/- to the complainant, as assessed by the Surveyor, within a period of 30 days from today, failing which it would carry interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of surveyor report i.e. 21.3.2009 till the date of actual payment.   The ld.Counsel for complainant accepting the settlement, prayed for disposal of the complaint.  In this view of the matter, the complaint is disposed of accordingly.  The parties shall remain bound by their statements.

                        Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties.
