Statement of counsel for O.P. without oath: -
I have settled the present case with the complainant. Hereby the O.P. has agreed to return the entire deposited amount as premium alongwith interest @ 6% p.a. of the subject 8 policies from the date of issuing the policies till 01.05.2016.
The O.P. further stated that total sum of Rs. 8,56,180.70 paise shall be paid as full & final settlement in 8 cheques i.e. 1) cheque no-072043 dt-02.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 1,54,325.97 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai, 2) cheque no-072044 dt-02.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 1,31,724.85 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai, 3) cheque no-079468 dt-14.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 30,034.25 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai, 4) cheque no-072042 dt-02.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 1,30,360.55 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai, 5) cheque no-072041 dt-02.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 1,18,509.59 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai, 6) cheque no-072045 dt-02.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 1,18,131.51 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai, 7) cheque no-072046 dt-02.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 1,43,059.73 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai and 8) cheque no-078424 dt-03.05.2016 of an amount of Rs. 30,034.25 paise only drawn on ICICI Bank, Nariman Point Branch, Mumbai.
