AWARD

1]        Vide his separate statement recorded on 14.10.2024, the ld.Counsel for the OP-1 stated that the matter has been settled and as per settlement, OP No.1 Company will make payment of Rs.32 lacs to the complainant within 5 weeks from today towards full & final settlement of the dispute in the present consumer complaint, failing which the same shall be paid along with interest @9% per annum from the date of statement till payment.

2]        The ld.Counsel for the complainant also stated separately that he admits the aforesaid statement of ld.Counsel for the OP No.1 and the complaint be disposed of accordingly in the Upbhokta Lok Adalat to be held on 26.10.2024.

3]        In view of the statements of the counsels for the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following award:-

1. The OP No.1 Company is directed to pay Rs.32 lacs to the complainant within 5 weeks w.e.f. 14.10.2024, failing which the OP No.1 shall pay the said amount of Rs.32 lacs to the complainant along with interest @9% per annum from 14.10.2024 till the date of payment.

4]   The award is accordingly passed.

5]   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
