                   Alongwith the appeal, an application for condonation of delay of 71 days as per the applicant/appellant  (as per the office report 70 days), in filing the appeal, has been filed.

                   Heard.

                   For the reasons stated in the application, which is supported by a duly sworn affidavit and finding sufficient cause, the delay aforesaid is condoned.

                    The application is disposed of accordingly.

                   In view of order passed by this Commission today in Cross Appeal bearing No.140 of 2017 filed by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. & Anr., which has been disposed of in terms of settlement arrived at between the parties, this appeal stands disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
