Present :  Sh.Pritam Singh, husband of the complainant

                Sh.Pardeep Arora,Adv.counsel for the opposite party

          During the pendency of the complainant, opposite party paid Rs.125000/- vide cheque bearing No.290015 dated 8.2.2017 to the complainant which has been received by the husband of the complainant in the Forum on 12.4.2017 under protest on the ground that the complainant has been harassed at the hands of the  opposite party and the opposite party has compelled the complainant to file the present complaint. He pressed for compensation and litigation expenses on behalf of the complainant.  Today, Sh.Pritam Singh, appeared on behalf of the complainant and stated at bar the cheque has been got encashed by the complanant and she pressed for compensation and litigation expenses.

          Since the opposite party has paid the amount to the complainant during the pendency of the complaint. As such, in our considered opinion, the opposite party is deficient in providing service to the complainant and compelled the complainant to file the present complaint.

          Consequently, instant complaint is disposed of with directions to the opposite party to pay compensation of Rs.2000/- and litigation expenses of Rs.1000/- to the complainant within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order.  Copy of the order be furnished to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to the record room.
