This revision petition is directed against the order dated 29.01.10 passed by the UT Chandigarh Consumer Disputes ..2.. Redressal Commission, Chandigarh (in short, ‘the State Commission’) in First Appeal Nos. 467/09 and 508/09. By the impugned order, the State Commission has partly allowed the First Appeal no. 467/09 titled as Deepak Narang Vs. ICICI Lombard & Ors. by awarding compensation of Rs.25,000/- over and above the compensation awarded by the District Forum. The First Appeal no. 508/2009 titled as Skoda Auto India Pvt. Ltd. & Anr. Vs. Deepak Narang & Anr. by which the said appellants challenged the order of the District Forum granting a compensation of Rs.2,23,595/- plus Rs.50,000/- for adopting unfair trade practice, was dismissed. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Having regard to the entirety of the facts and circumstances as noted by the Fora below which we do not wish to repeat in this order, we are of the considered opinion that the relief granted to the petitioner is justified in the light of nature and extent of deficiency alleged by the complainant. We see no good ground for upgradation of the relief any further. The revision petition is accordingly dismissed. However, ..3.. the time for compliance of the orders passed by the Fora below is extended by four weeks from today.
