Rajbir Vs. ICICI Lombard

Present:       Sh. Devender Hooda, Advocate for the complainant.

                   Sh. Naveen Chaudhary, Advocate for the opposite party.

                   File put up today on an application moved by the ld. counsel for the complainant. Learned counsel for the Opposite party suffered a statement that the matter has been settled with the complainant for Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lacs only) subject to cancellation of RC by the complainant and opposite party(s) will make aforesaid payment within 60 days failing which OP(s) shall be liable to make settled amount alongwith interest @9% PA from the date of order. He further stated that Salvage of the vehicle in question shall be kept by opposite party..

                   Learned counsel for the complainant suffered a statement that he has heard and agrees with the above statement and has no objection to decide the case accordingly.

                   In view of the statement made by the learned counsels for both the parties, the present case is disposed off being settled with direction to the opposite parties to pay the alleged amount of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lacs only) within 60 days from the date of order failing which the opposite parties shall be liable to pay the interest @9% PA from today i.e. 09.01.2024 till its realization to the complainant. Parties shall be bound by their respective statements. Copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of costs.

                   File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
