1. On joint request of the parties, file is taken up today.

1. In the appeal, it is reported that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties in Delhi Govt. Mediation & Conciliation Centre vide settlement dated 9.9.14.  The same is Exhibited as Ex-C1.

1. In terms of settlement, the respondent has settled the claim of the appellant for a sum of Rs. 3 lacs.  The demand draft of Rs. 3 lacs is given to the appellant in court today. 

1. As the matter has been amicably settled between the parties, the impugned order dated 19.7.2013, by which complaint of the appellant herein was decided, stands modified in terms of settlement dated 9.9.2014 arrived at between the parties before the Delhi Govt. Mediation Centre. 

1. Ld. Counsel for the appellant has submitted that there is no other legal heir of the deceased policy holder except the present appellant i.e. his wife. 

1. Appeal stands disposed of in terms of settlement dated 9.9.2014 Ex-C1.

1. The date already given i.e. 20.2.15 stands cancelled.

1. FDR/Bank Guarantee, if any, furnished by the appellant be returned forthwith after completion of due formalities.

1. A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements, be forwarded to the parties free of charge and also to the concerned District Forum and thereafter the file be consigned to Record Room.
