ORDER

Arguments heard. Complainant present in person submitted that he is the holder of credit card of Centurion Bank and he has not holding credit card of ICICI Bank. He submitted that he is ready to pay dues to the Centurion Bank in respect of his credit card account. The complainant submitted that opposite party bank is blocking his salary and debiting entire salary to the Centurion Bank without informing him. The complainant has got three loans from the ICICI Bank. Two personal loans and one loan towards two wheeler loan. He is paying the loan installment regularly and there was no late payment and cheques not bounced. Therefore, complainant has to be appreciated who is regular in his payment of loans to the ICICI Bank. Complainant submitted that though he has not having ICICI Bank credit card the opposite party bank is blocking the salary and paying amount to Centurion Bank since there was a tie-up between ICICI and Centurion Bank. The complainant submitted that after filing this complaint the opposite party bank is not blocking his salary and for the month of June 2008 his salary was not blocked by the opposite party bank. This is a good development. The opposite party bank has taken corrective steps soon after receipt of the notice from this forum. The complainant got the relief. His only request is that opposite party bank is advised not to block his salary and he should be given an opportunity to make payment on EMI basis to the Centurion Bank. This request of the complainant is quite just, fair and reasonable. When the complainant is ready to pay the dues to the Centurion Bank there is no question of blocking his salary by the opposite party bank. The opposite party bank shall not hence forth block the salary of the complainant. The complainant shall go on repaying loan which he had taken from the opposite party bank. The complainant shall also go on paying the dues of the Centurion Bank. The opposite party bank need not block the salary of the complainant thereby it will help the complainant to maintain his family and also to pay his dues to the Centurion Bank. In the result I proceed to pass the following: ORDER The complaint is allowed. The opposite party bank is directed not to block the salary of the complainant. The complainant shall go on paying the dues to the Centurion Bank on EMI basis. With this observation the complaint is disposed off. Send the copy of this Order to both the parties free of costs immediately. MEMBER MEMBER PRESIDENT
