ICICI Bank, Sector 9, Chandigarh, through its Branch Manager.

Present:           Complainant with her counsel Sh.Mukand Gupta, Advocate.

                        ORDER

1.                     This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

“Statement of Sh.Sandeep Suri, Adv. for OP-ICICI Bank

 

The matter has been settled between the parties.  As per settlement, the OP Bank has offered to refund the amount received as foreclosure/prepayment charges from the complainant towards his home loan along with interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of deposit till refund, in full and final settlement of the claim of the complainant.  The amount shall be paid within 40 days from today.

I have read and gone through the above statement of ld.Counsel for OP and accept the same as correct and as such, I withdraw the present complaint as fully satisfied.” 

 

2.                     In view of the above statement, the complaint stands disposed of. The OP would refund the amount to the complainant received as foreclosure/prepayment charges from her towards home loan alongwith interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of deposit till its refund. The amount would be paid by OP within 40 days from today 26.3.2010.

3.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
