Additional affidavit of the petitioner has been filed in support of application seeking condonation of 253 days delay in filing the present proceedings. We have carefully perused the same and have heard the counsel for the petitioner. After doing so, we are of the view that the undue delay caused in filing the present petition has not been satisfactorily explained. The reasons given in the application and the affidavit to say the least not justify the condonation of such huge delay. The main ground stated is that the counsel who was looking after the case was not careful and has been delaying the filing of the revision petition on one or the other pretext. We, therefore, decline the application for condonation of delay. Consequently, we dismiss the revision petition.
