ORDER:-
On the intervention of this Commission, parties have entered into amicable settlement according to which counsel for the respondent no.1 offered the compensation in the sum of Rs.35,000/- only to the complainant, in lump sum as full and final settlement of the matter, within the period of 35 days. The complainant whose present in the Commission accepted the offer. Statement of complainant to this effect recorded.
Keeing in view of statement of complainant as well as counsel for the respondent no.1, without passing any adverse remarks, on the act and conduct of any of the parties to the proceedings, matter being amicably settled. The present complaint is, partly, accepted against the respondent no.1, holding it liable to make the payment of Rs.35,000/- to the complainant as full and final settlement of the matter, within the period of 35 days from the date of order, in default of it, respondent no.1 shall be liable to make the payment of simple interest @ 8 % p.a., on the amount of Rs.35,000/- from the date of order, till actual payment. Remaining relief of any kind deemed to be declined to the complainant. Certified copy of the order be supplied to the parties, free of cost. File be consigned to the records.
