Present:       Sh. Nikhil Gupta, Adv. for the complainant.

                    Sh. KK Gupta, Adv. for the respondent.    

ORDER:-

                   On the intervention of this Commission, parties have entered into amicable settlement according to which respondent offered Rs.45,000/- to the complainant, in lump sum as full and final settlement of the matter and promised to make the payment within the period of 30 days. The counsel for the complainant accepted the proposal. Statement of counsel for the respondent and counsel for the complainant recorded.

                 In view of statement of counsel for the parties, without passing any adverse remarks, on the act and conduct of any of the parties, matter being amicably settled. The present complaint is accepted against the respondent bank, holding it liable to make the payment of Rs.45,000/- to the complainant as full and final settlement of the matter, within the period of 30 days from the date of order, in default of it, respondent shall be liable to make the payment of simple interest @ 8 % p.a., on the amount of Rs.45,000/- from the date of order, till actual payment. Certified copy of the order be supplied to the parties, free of cost. File be consigned to the records.
