There is a delay of 128 days in filing the revision petition which is over and above the period of 90 days statutorily given for filing the revision petition.  Normally we have been condoning the delay upto 100 days.  Under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 on filing of a complaint the District Forum or the State Commission is required to decide the same within 90 days where no evidence is to be led and in cases where evidence is to be led, the same has to be decided within 150 days from the date of its filing.  Consumer foras are supposed to decide the cases on a summary manner.  The delay can be condoned only if sufficient cause has been shown.   In the present case, sufficient cause has not been shown.  Revision petition is dismissed.
