           This appeal is filed by the appellant/Opposite Party being aggrieved by the order dated:30.05.2022 passed by the Dharwad District Consumer Commission in C.C.No.29/2012, which allowed the complaint filed by the complainant directing this appellant to repay a sum of Rs.14,65,250/- with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of complaint till realization along with Rs.50,000/- towards additional expenses and Rs.1,000/- towards cost. 

2.       On perusal of the order-sheet, we noticed that the appellant has not appeared before this Commission to submit the arguments in spite of sufficient opportunities given to the appellant.  It seems he is not interested in continuing his case. Mere filing of memorandum of appeal is not sufficient to hold the appeal in the absence of any arguments and convincement by the appellant. As such the appeal is liable to be dismissed.  Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.

          Forward copy of this order to both parties as well as concerned District Commission.

          The amount in deposit shall be transmitted to the concerned District Commission to pay the same to the respondent.   

Return the LCR forthwith to the concerned District Commission.
