                                                            ORDER

 

                            This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Sh. Manu Bajwa, Authorized Representative/Brother of complainant.has filed his authority letter. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

            “Statement of Sh.Manu Bajwa s/o Sh.Sukhwinder Singh Bajwa, Authorized          Representative/Brother of Complainant, R/o H.No.1129, Sector 23-B,   Chandigarh.

 

I have been authorized by the complainant-Mandeep Singh Bajwa to make the following statement:

The complainant has received Rs.65,000/- by way of cash in his acccount no. 70010231189 in Standard Chartered Bank on 26.08.2010 and therefore his claim against the OP-company stands fully satisfied and nothing remains due. Thus, the present complaint may kindly be dismissed as withdrawn. The complainant will withdraw all the police complaints filed by him against the OP-company before the various police authorities as the matter has been amicably settled and stands fully compromised.

I, on behalf of the OP-company hereby undertake that the OP-company will withdraw all the police complaints filed against complainant-Mandeep Singh Bajwa and his family members before various authorities as the dispute between the complainant-Mandeep Singh Bajwa, his family members a well as the OP company has been settled in total and nothing remains due.

 

2.                     In view of the above statements, the complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, the parties would remain bound by their undertakings.

3.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
