Final Order / Judgement

The    complainant Nazma  Ara  Begum   is    present   along  with  ld.  counsel   S  Ahmed  . O.P.  No-1  to  4  through    ld. counsel  Sri  Abhijit   Kakoti  are   present. 

Both  the    parties  files a   joint   petition   (  on  behalf   of  the   complainant  &   the   opp.  parties )  to  dismiss   / dispos   of  the   complaint   on the  ground   of   amicable   settlement   and  vide    this   joint  petition   no-  395/28-2-2024  prays  to     allow   the    petition  &   dismiss   /dispose   of  the   instant   complaint  in view  of    amicable  settlement   outside   the  court.

The   opp.  parties-HDFC  life   insurance  co  ltd  are   stating  in the   said   petition   that  they    have   amicably   settled   the  matter   outside  the   commission  with   the    complainant  Nazma  Ara Begum and    has   paid  the    settlement  amount  vide   cheque  no-  095105  dtd. 12/2/2024.

We   have    heard   both   the   parties   on  the  said    joint  petition  &   after    hearing   both  the   parties   on  the    point  of  amicable   settlement   , the  joint    petition  is    allowed  &   accordingly  , the    case    is  disposed    of  on  amicable   settlement.
