ORDER

                    Sh. Nitin Thatai, counsel for the OP -1 has made the following statement, recorded separately: -

                        “The matter has been settled between the parties. OP-1 has already made a payment of Rs.67,493.48 to the complainant in full and final settlement of his claim qua policy No.13686830 and on instructions received from OP-1, Rs.50,000/- would be paid within 55 days from today in respect of policy No.13618022. No other amount would be remaining to be paid to the complainant after the aforesaid payment i.e.Rs.50,000/- and both the insurance policies would be treated null and void”.

                        Sh. Gaurav Bhardwaj, counsel for the complainant has made the following statement, recorded separately: -

                        “I accept the offer of OP-1. I withdraw this complaint”.

                        In view of the above, it is ordered that the OP-1 shall pay a sum of 50,000/- to the complainant within 55 days from today i.e., failing which the OP-1 shall pay the same amount alongwith interest @18% p.a. from the date of this order till the payment is made. ­Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly.

                        Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
